A Benin Bronze figurine

A Benin Bronze figurine, from Benin City, Nigeria, depicting a man with two children or attendants. He is carrying an Eben ceremonial sword, and a bird sits on one of the children. Most likely looted in 1897.

Label by Chioma Ubajaka:

A bird, a man, two children.
The past, the present, and future.
Wisdom, Knowledge, Hope.
The Circle of Life flows …
Like a stream flows into the river, and onward to the ocean.
Together we are One.
Together we are Strong … Whole.
